Students and teachers have a high regard for each other, learning together and appreciating the progress each makes, pushing the limits of what the technology has to offer. Easier, more direct access to teachers and students facilitates cooperation and allows immediate feedback as they work through problems and experience triumphs together. There is a mutual respect for the process of learning as part of life.

The curriculum has a balance and unified approach that successfully serves the purpose of educating in an interesting manner, without busy work. The variety of the elective offering is diverse, timely and real-world oriented, showing Justin that learning is an ongoing process. There is a good mix of hands-on projects, textbook, research, practical applications, and cooperative projects with other students. The students also have an opportunity to learn from each other, to acknowledge and appreciate the skills and abilities of others in the school since they see each other's work daily.

The environment is personalized so the teachers and students "know" each other better than in most brick-and-mortar school situations. Justin is meeting people and making friends from diverse places and backgrounds, without regional or religious bias. He is enjoying friendships that will last a lifetime. We also know him better as a person, as well as where he stands in his studies. In previous traditional private school environments, we found more focus on molding the child to the system, instead of making the system work for the child. 3DLearn students enjoy healthy self-esteem.
