3DLearn Interactive Academy high school course curricula is designed around an integrated approach to language arts, science and social studies. The Secondary English and history courses are rigorous multidisciplinary courses. Students spend a total of 150 hours on English lessons and another 150 hours on history within each integrated course. The nationally recognized 3DLearn course content has been developed in house and written by award winning curriculum developers and designers based on the 3DLearn creativity theory and encompasses 3D virtual world projects and activities designed to demonstrate learning.
3DLearn Interactive Academy high school science and math courses are worth 1 credit which is the equivalent of 150 hours of instruction.
We organize our curricula according to the recommended sequence of study but students may substitute courses in a different order provided they are meeting the instructional time needed annually.
3DLearn Interactive Academy students at the high school level complete a total of 1050 clock hours of instruction per school year.
Each secondary course has been designed to address specific academic standards drawn from Content Knowledge: A Compendium of Standards and Benchmarks for K-12 Education: 2nd Edition and have been provided courtesy of the Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning in Aurora, Colorado.
