Janet Baxter Hale :Founder/ Director/3D Technology Teacher
Janet is the founder and president of 3DLearn. Ms. Hale has been a senior executive, educator and entrepreneur since 1995. Janet has over 17 years as an educator and formerly taught in the Exeter Township school district. She is also a published childrens' author and her childrens' biography was nominated for outstanding biography by the Virginia Librarian's Association. Janet has now taken her writing skills and applied them towards the development of 3DLearn's ground-breaking 3D curricula. Ms. Hale provides strategic, tactical and creative leadership across all disciplines to accelerate the business and educational development of 3DLearn and she is the creative force behind 3DLearn. Hale's innovative use of 3D virtual reality in education has been nationally recognized on NBC Nightly News, WGAL's Learning Matters and MSNBC. News features have appeared in Education Weekly, eSchool News, The Reading Eagle and Practical Homeschooling. Janet holds a BA in Education and she graduated summa cum laude from Alvernia College.
Jennifer Gundersen Middle School Director
Jen has been with 3DLearn since the very beginning of our journey and has been instrumental in the school's growth and content development. Ms. Gundersen holds a BA and MA in education from Kutztown University, PA and PA Educational Technology Certificate. Ms. Gundersen has been involved with educational technology and the Internet since 1996 when she came on board as one of 3DLearn's first teachers (then Willoway School). Ms. Gundersen is an acclaimed author of 3D Virtual Reality educational content and course development and is expert in integrating educational technology into distance learning content and curriculum development.
Megan Fitzpatrick: Secondary English Chair, Online Arts Chair: Digital Music Coordinator
Megan holds a Bachelor's of Music Education from Ohio State University with a Florida Professional Educator's Certificate in music K-12 and English 6-12. Formerly, Ms. Fitzpatrick was the music director for the Plantation School in Monore County, Florida as well as the music director for the Sylvania City schools where she was the head director of the orchestra and band. Megan brings her creative energy in the arts to 3DLearn and is currently developing a new digital music program for 3DLearn where students will be able to compose online digital compositions and stream inside EduKaydia's VR classrooms!
Michelle Kamen: Secondary Science, Math, Exceptional Needs Director
Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in education with a concentration in Exceptional Needs from the University of South Florida. Michelle holds a Florida Professional Level certification in Math for grades 6-12. Ms. Kamen is also working on finishing up her Master's Degree in Exceptional Education. Formerly, Ms. Kamen taught math and reading at Naples High School and Michelle has been privately tutoring students of all ages in math and reading for the past 6 years. Michelle supervises all online math courses and provides additional one on one math tutoring for students who need it.
